High safety requirements, risk of explosions
During World War II, an underground munitions depot was constructed in Mitholz by the Swiss Army. Following multiple explosions in December 1947, up to 3,500 gross tons of ammunition, along with several hundred tons of explosives, remain buried in the debris cone to this day. The goal is to safely remove the munitions, which involves extensive drilling work. More details: SRF News
We are honored to be part of this fascinating and challenging project, where we will carry out 60 exploratory boreholes.
Drillmasters Simon and André, along with their support team, are putting in their utmost effort to contribute to the success of the project.
